H-Type Vertical Axis Wind Turbines Realize Rooftop Power Self-Supply in Suzhou

Two H-type vertical axis wind turbines are mounted on the building rooftop within Suzhou Industrial Park, forming an independent wind power generation system with supporting control cabinets.

Different from horizontal wind turbines, H-shaped vertical axis products adapt well to the disordered turbulent wind of urban building clusters with omnidirectional wind capturing capability, featuring low vibration and quiet operation. The generated electricity is applied to office power supply, public area lighting and building auxiliary equipment inside the plant building.

The rooftop installation mode saves valuable ground space for the enterprise. This project offers a feasible distributed energy solution for factory buildings, office parks and industrial zones to cut grid electricity costs and lower overall carbon emissions.
