SMARAAD 10kW Wind Turbine Demo Project at State Grid Site

In late March, SMARAAD completed the deployment of a 10kW wind power demonstration project at a State Grid facility.
The site features two types of turbines: our H-type vertical axis wind turbine and horizontal axis wind turbine. This side-by-side setup enables direct performance comparison under the same local wind conditions.

The vertical axis model works reliably with turbulent wind and does not need wind direction adjustment. The horizontal axis unit delivers efficient power output at steady wind speeds. This hybrid demonstration helps evaluate distributed wind solutions for power station auxiliary power and microgrid scenarios.

SMARAAD supplies both vertical and horizontal wind turbines, supporting custom demo projects for power grid, industrial and off-grid microgrid applications.
