SMARAAD’s 100KW G-Type Turbine: Powering Industrial Green Transition in Daqing
Completed on April 30, 2026, this 100kW G-type commercial wind turbine by SMARAAD now stands at a manufacturing facility in Daqing, Heilongjiang, marking a major step in the factory’s shift toward self-sufficient, low-carbon operations. Built to harness the region’s steady northern winds, the turbine delivers clean, on-site power directly to the plant’s production lines and auxiliary systems.
Designed for industrial use, the G-type turbine features a robust three-blade design and a high-tower structure optimized for Daqing’s cold, windy climate. The unit efficiently captures year-round winds, converting them into stable electricity that reduces the factory’s reliance on grid power and cuts operational energy costs. The turbine’s rugged construction and anti-freeze components ensure reliable performance even through harsh Heilongjiang winters.
For the facility, the benefits are clear: the 100kW turbine generates over 260,000 kWh of clean energy annually, meeting a significant portion of the factory’s electricity needs and reducing carbon emissions by more than 190 metric tons each year. This not only aligns with Daqing’s industrial sustainability goals but also helps the factory hedge against rising grid electricity prices.
“Integrating SMARAAD’s 100kW wind turbine into our plant is a win-win,” the facility’s operations manager said. “We’re cutting our carbon footprint and lowering long-term energy costs at the same time. It’s exactly the kind of industrial-scale renewable solution we needed.”
This Daqing project highlights SMARAAD’s expertise in delivering commercial-grade wind power for industrial clients, proving that on-site wind generation can drive both environmental and economic value for factories in northern China.
