SMARAAD’s Own Wuxi Factory Goes Green with Our In-House Wind-Solar Hybrid System
Right at our SMARAAD manufacturing headquarters in Wuxi, Jiangsu, we have installed a self-operated wind-solar power station equipped with various vertical-axis wind turbines independently researched, developed and manufactured by our own team, matched with large rooftop solar panel arrays.
These multi-style vertical-axis wind turbines can efficiently capture omnidirectional wind in the complex airflow environment of the industrial park. Working in coordination with rooftop photovoltaic systems, they form a stable complementary power generation solution to supply clean electricity for our workshop production equipment, factory lighting, office electrical appliances and other daily operational loads.
By adopting our own wind turbine products together with solar power generation, our factory has substantially cut down our consumption of grid-supplied industrial electricity. Most of our daily production and office energy demand is now covered by on-site renewable power, which greatly reduces our long-term electricity operating costs. Meanwhile, this project sharply lowers our factory’s carbon emissions, helping us fulfill our corporate environmental commitments and move steadily toward sustainable low-carbon manufacturing.
Beyond internal energy saving, this on-site installation acts as a real-world demonstration base for our global clients. Visitors coming to our Wuxi factory can intuitively witness the reliable performance and economic value of SMARAAD’s vertical-axis wind turbines and wind-solar integrated solutions in real industrial scenarios, offering strong practical proof of our product strength.
